Students continued work on personal response essay.
Owing to slower-than-expected progress, writers' group was rescheduled to MONDAY, to allow students to finish rough drafts over the weekend, if desired.
DUE DATES
FRIDAY, March 3: Advanced Word Power Chapters 6 and 7 vocabulary quiz.
MONDAY, March 6: Spin-off groups discuss personal essays on the role of simplicity and/or nature in living well, drawing from Walden and one or more additional sources we've discussed in class (No Impact Man/"The Year Without Toilet Paper," The Nature Principle, and Refuge).
FRIDAY, March 10: Final drafts of response essays due for a grade.
